The flag of Vanuatu was adopted on 18 February 1980. In 1977 a flag of almost the same colours andsymbolism as the future national flag was designedby local artist Kalontas Malon and adopted by theVanua'aku Pati. When the party led the New Hebridesto independence as Vanuatu in 1980, the colours ofthe party flag were chosen to be the basis for thenational flag on Independence Day, July 30, 1980. Aparliamentary committee chose the final design based on submissionsfrom local artists.
The flag material is 100%polyester woven fabric or knitted fabric
The flag size will be 75cm*150cm, or 90cm*180cm or other customized size
The trim will be metal grommets, D ring or rope and stick and so on.
